Bio:

My name is Tayyabunnisa Tahera, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I have a deep passion for working with children and years of hands-on experience in childcare that have equipped me to provide compassionate and reliable care. I am available to begin immediately and am excited about the opportunity to support your family.

As a Junior Child Psychologist, I had the privilege of working closely with children with intellectual disabilities, where I developed individualized strategies to foster their growth and confidence. This experience, combined with babysitting back in my hometown, has taught me how to adapt to different personalities and developmental needs. For instance, I once helped a 5-year-old build social and communication skills by creating a daily “pretend play café,” where they took orders and served imaginary meals. This fun activity not only boosted their confidence but also encouraged creativity and interaction in a natural, engaging way.

My go-to activities as a sitter include arts and crafts to encourage creativity, outdoor play to promote physical activity, and storytelling to spark imagination. With my background in child psychology, I create fun, development-focused activities that support cognitive and emotional growth. For example, I incorporate games that build problem-solving and social skills or introduce mindfulness exercises to help children manage emotions and build resilience—all while ensuring they stay engaged and happy.

As someone who is hardworking, patient, and attentive, I pride myself on creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and valued.
